I spent the first ten years of my working life in various factories, before deciding I could do more. I went to university as a mature student aged 25 and gained a degree in theatre and English literature. I have since worked in theatre as a technician. In 2009 my husband and I made the life-changing decision to move to the tiny Channel Island of Sark. In March this year we finally moved. We’ve cut back on working hours, which means less money but more time to enjoy this beautiful island, with its amazing scenery, absence of cars and streetlights, and friendly locals. I vowed I would do some writing when I moved here, so here I am, hoping to entertain the world.
